It depends. There are good & bad anime seriees with only 13 or 26 episodes
and there are good & bad series with 100+ episodes.
I would rather have less episodes to watch, than terrible fillers (Naruto,
Bleach), or having to see lots of useless episodes (Dragon Ball/Z/GT, Sailor
Moon, Marmalade Boy, Tokyo Mew Mew...).
I'm totally open about being an anime fan. I'm not ashamed that I'm an
anime/manga fan even though I'm 22 years old. There are people who make fun of
me, but since there are stuff that I hate & think are stupid (for example
soup operas), it's natural that other people feel the same way about
animes/mangas. I only hate it when people talk trash about animes/mangas without
knowing anything about them.
Of course, I treat them really well. The series that I don't have completed, I
line them on shelves. With ones I've completed, I keep them in boxes under my
desk ('cause there's too many of them for the shelves).
I prefer the original voices. Although dubbing can be good, depending on the
studio doing it, the original is always better. So far I'm concerned, the best
dubbing results have the Germans. The Americans are so-so, and the Italian are
horrible. The worst would still be the Croatian (my country :P). Anyway,
original woices are the best.
QUOTING selemental:
Everyone has to admit, the subtitles aren't the best
because 1) sometimes it gets in the way of the picture, 2) there's almost always
serious mistakes in grammar causing you not to understand anything, 3) You're
too busy trying to read the subtitles before the next set comes instead of
focusing on the overall quality of the anime. END OF QUOTE
I so don't agree with 2) & 3). It never happened to me to not understand something because
of the mistakes in grammar (regardless in which language the subs were). The
mistakes can't be that big to make you not understand. And there's this thing
called context... Also, I've never been ''too busy trying to read the subtitles
before the next set comes instead of focusing on the overall quality of the
anime'', I focus on both the subtitles & the scanes at the same time. And
even if I miss something, I would rather watch the scene again, than listen to
dubbing.
Hmm, there really are a lot of cute characters. I can't choose only one, so I'll
go with a few:
GUYS: Ritsuka (Loveless), Shuichi (Gravitation), small Akira (Hikaru no Go),
small Momiji (Fruits Basket), Shimon (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de), Enki &
Taiki (Juuni Kokki), Shin (Pretear), small Aram (Merupuri), Ayase (Okane ga
Nai)
There are a few that were too slow for me. Usually they are anime adaptations of
the manga and they are too slow with lots of unnecessary episodes/scenes (the
manga were way better & faster). Those would be: Marmalade Boy, Tokyo Mew
Mew, Sailor Moon, Naruto, Bleach...
OMG, there are too many. Let's see... Angel Sanctuary, Candidate for Goddess,
Fruits Basket, Gravitation, Gundam SEED, Juuni Kokki, Loveless, Ouran High
School Host Club, Star Ocean EX, Tales of Eternia, Tenjou Tenge, Yami no
Matsuei...
It depends. Usually the mangas are better than the animes (story-wise and
character-wise), but the animes are more enjoyable because the characters move
and you hear their voices and the sounds/music. Of course, I like the japanese
voice actors the most, eng dubs are too horible for me. And I hate it when they
change people's names. I also like german voice actors (and they leave original
names), but japanese are still my favourite.
So i read the mangas & watch the animes, but in some cases one is much
better than the other (usually the one that was created first (Gundam Seed
anime, Gundam Wing anime, Vision of Escaflowne anime, RahXephon anime, Tenchi
Muyou! animes, Princesss Tutu anime, Full Moon wo Sagashite manga, Kamikaze
Kaitou Jeanne manga, D.N.Angel manga, Magic Knight Rayearth manga, Sailor Moon
manga, Kodomo no Omocha manga, Marmalade Boy manga, Tokyo Mew Mew manga, Mermaid
Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch manga...).
Sometimes I like both the manga & the anime even if they are made
differently (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Pretear).
The art of TV-series looks better 'couse it's newer then the OVA -eries. And the
music is better. And the chara design is better. The fights are better...
Everything is better. ^^

I like both. In Naruto, I like the fights a bit more, and in Bleach I like the charas a bit more, but all in all, I like them both.
It depends on the series, I like both the guys (preferably hot or cute) & girls (preferably not whinny & defenceless).
Mine would be:
Kyouko (Skip Beat!), Himeno (Pretear), Haine (Shinshi Doumei Cross), Takiko (Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden), Sakura (Naruto), Rukia (Bleach), Ahiru (Princess Tutu), Cagalli (Gundam Seed), Haruhi (Ouran High School Host Club), Hotaru (Sailor Moon), Lina (Slayers), Ryoko (Tenchi Muyou!), Miyu (Vampire Princess Miyu)

I would protest, of course. And still read/watch them secretly. I like anime/manga too much, they couldn't stop me from reading/watching them.

Athrun-Cagalli, Kira-Lacus, Shinn-Stellar, Dearka-Miriallia. Those are my absolute favourite coupless.
I
also like Mwu-Murrue & Andorea-Aisha.

Right now I'm addicted to Bleach & Naruto. But the most addiction I had so far was Gundam Seed. I watched it all in 2 days, with almost no sleep. :P
